• Name and phone number — collected when you make a booking via call, WhatsApp, or our website enquiry form
• Government ID details — driving licence and one photo ID, verified at the time of physical pickup only. We do not store digital copies of your ID documents.
• Booking details — pickup date, return date, bike selected, pickup location
• Messages — WhatsApp or call communications for the purpose of completing your booking

Information collected automatically

• Website usage data — pages visited, time spent, browser type, device type (via Google Analytics)
• Approximate location — only if your browser shares it, and only to show relevant map information

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information only for the following purposes:

• To confirm and manage your bike booking
• To contact you about your rental (pickup reminders, return confirmations, updates)
• To process your security deposit and any applicable refunds
• To respond to your enquiries or complaints
• To improve our website and services using anonymised analytics data

We do not use your information for marketing without your explicit consent, and we will never send you unsolicited promotional messages.

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for commercial purposes. Your data may be shared only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers — Google (Analytics, Maps) and WhatsApp (Meta) are used as part of our booking and website operations. These are governed by their own privacy policies.
• Legal requirement — If required by law, court order, or government authority under applicable Indian law, we may disclose information as required.

4. Analytics & Cookies

Our website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. This collects anonymised data including pages visited, time on site, and device type. No personally identifiable information is included in analytics data.

We also use Google Maps to display our location. Google's cookie and privacy policy applies to the embedded map. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

5. Data Retention

We retain booking records (name, phone, dates, bike rented) for up to 12 months for our business records and dispute resolution purposes. After this period, records are deleted. WhatsApp conversation history is retained as long as the conversation exists on our device.

If you would like your data deleted earlier, contact us directly and we will do so within 7 business days.

6. Your Rights

Under India's Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable rules, you have the right to:

• Know what personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your personal data (subject to our legal obligations)
