Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the rental of vehicles from Garuda Bike Rentals ("Garuda", "we", "us") located at 4-2-20, Kumarpally, Hanamkonda, Warangal, Telangana — 506001. By booking a vehicle, you ("customer", "renter") agree to be bound by these terms in full.

1. Eligibility & Requirements

• You must be at least 18 years of age at the time of rental
• You must hold a valid Indian driving licence appropriate for the vehicle category, or a valid International Driving Permit (for foreign nationals)
• You must present one government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar card, passport, voter ID, or PAN card) at the time of pickup
• Garuda reserves the right to refuse rental to any person who appears unfit to ride safely

2. Booking & Confirmation

• Bookings are confirmed only after verbal or written confirmation from a Garuda representative via phone or WhatsApp
• Submitting an enquiry form or sending a WhatsApp message does not constitute a confirmed booking until acknowledged by us
• Garuda reserves the right to cancel a booking if the requested vehicle becomes unavailable, in which case a full refund of any advance paid will be made
• Rental rates are quoted in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of one helmet. Additional charges for extensions, late returns, or damage are not included in the base rate

3. Permitted Use of Bikes

• Vehicles may be used only for personal transportation within India
• Only the registered renter (and a pillion rider) may use the vehicle. Subletting or transferring the vehicle to a third party is strictly prohibited
• Vehicles must be operated in compliance with all applicable Indian traffic laws and regulations
• The renter is solely responsible for all traffic fines, penalties, or legal consequences incurred during the rental period

4. Prohibited Activities

• Riding under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that impairs judgement
• Using the vehicle for commercial purposes (delivery, transport for hire, etc.)
• Participating in races, stunts, or off-road riding
• Modifying or tampering with the vehicle in any way
• Taking the vehicle outside India
• Allowing an unlicensed or unauthorised person to ride the vehicle
• Leaving the vehicle unattended without locking it properly

5. Fuel Policy

• All vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel at the time of pickup
• The renter is responsible for fuel costs during the rental period
• Vehicles must be returned with a full tank. If returned with less fuel, the cost of refuelling to full capacity will be deducted from the security deposit at the current market rate

6. Damage & Liability

• The renter accepts the vehicle in the condition presented at pickup and is responsible for returning it in the same condition, subject to normal wear and tear
• The renter is fully liable for any damage to the vehicle caused during the rental period, including accidental damage, theft, or vandalism
• Garuda will assess damage costs based on actual repair costs at authorised service centres. The renter will be notified and given an opportunity to review the assessment before any deduction is made
• Normal wear (minor scratches consistent with regular use) will not be charged
• In the event of theft, the renter must file a police FIR immediately and share a copy with Garuda. The renter will be liable for the insured value shortfall, if any

7. Accidents & Breakdowns

• In the event of an accident, the renter must immediately contact Garuda at +91 7989157422 and the local police if required by law
• Do not move a seriously damaged vehicle from the accident site without informing Garuda first
• For breakdowns, contact Garuda immediately. We will arrange roadside assistance or a replacement vehicle as quickly as possible. Garuda is not liable for expenses, losses, or inconvenience arising from mechanical breakdown, but we will do our best to resolve the situation promptly
• The renter must not attempt repairs independently without Garuda's authorisation

8. Return of Bike

• Vehicles must be returned to the agreed location on or before the agreed return date and time
• Late returns will be charged at the standard daily rate, prorated per hour, deducted from the security deposit
• If you need to extend your rental, contact Garuda before your return time. Extensions are subject to availability and must be confirmed in advance
• Vehicles returned in an excessively dirty condition may be subject to a cleaning charge

9. Security Deposit

• A refundable security deposit is collected at the time of pickup. The amount varies by vehicle category and will be communicated at the time of booking
• The deposit will be refunded within 24 hours of vehicle return following inspection, subject to any deductions for damage, fuel, late return, or cleaning
• Deductions, if any, will be itemised and communicated to the renter before being applied

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India and the State of Telangana. Any disputes arising from a rental agreement with Garuda Bike Rentals shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Warangal, Telangana.

Garuda Bike Rentals reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
